Every job starts with a proper wash and decontamination process to remove embedded grime without dragging it across the surface.
From there, polishing is always approached conservatively, using the least aggressive method needed to restore clarity and gloss while preserving the thickness of your gelcoat or paint.
Multiple polishing steps are needed depending on the boat and condition. Even BRAND NEW boats get polished. We always finish our polishing steps with a dual action machine that will remove swirls and holograms from our rotary buffers! This is the most important part!
From there depending on the service we will protect the perfectly polished surface with any of the following:
- Wax (needs to be done every 3-4 months)
- Ceramic Coating (needs to be done once a year)
- Marine Paint Protection Film (5-7 year lifespan)
After we've perfected and protected your boat, we can get her on a maintenance schedule to keep her that way!
